How to add a custom skin on Android
Put a custom skin on Bedrock Edition on an Android phone or tablet: import the PNG from your downloads or open a skin pack, and fully close the game if a pack is missing.
On Android the game is Bedrock Edition. You can import a PNG picture in the Dressing Room, or open a skin pack (.mcpack), which the game imports by itself.
Import a PNG
- Download the PNG, or save it from the Scan2Skin 3D app. Downloads land in the Downloads folder unless you choose another.
- Open the game and select Dressing Room, then Classic Skins.
- Under Owned, select Import, then Choose New Skin, and pick the PNG in the file picker.
- Choose Classic or Slim to match the file, and confirm.
Or open a skin pack
- Tap the .mcpack file in your downloads or the Files app. In the Scan2Skin 3D app, tap Open skin pack.
- The game opens and imports it.
- In the Dressing Room, open Classic Skins, choose a skin from the pack and Equip.
Close the game completely
The game reads new skin packs when it starts. On the game's main screen, press Back and confirm that you want to exit. Or open the recent apps (swipe up from the bottom and hold, or the square button) and swipe the game's card away. Then open it again.
If it still does not work
See skin not working, and check Only Allow Trusted Skins.
Make a skin now, in your browser: five guided photos with the camera, or photos already taken. Nothing is uploaded. The Scan2Skin 3D app for iPhone and Android adds scan yourself, HD skins and Pro.
