Ads and Pro: what is free and what an ad unlocks
The apps and the website are free. On the website a skin's downloads are free; Pro in the iPhone and Android apps is a one-time purchase with no ads.
The app is free. The first export of a skin asks to watch a short ad ("Watch an ad to export"), which unlocks every format of that skin; if no ad can be shown, the export is unlocked anyway. Ads are non-personalized and rated for everyone.
Without Pro, now and then an ad also plays before another skin. Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android: no ads, the pixel editor with beards and jewelry and decoration stamps, and HD skins (128 x 128) for Bedrock. A video ad never unlocks HD. Restore purchases is in Settings.
On this website there is nothing to buy: a skin's downloads in every format and the pixel editor are free, with no ad to watch. The pages show ordinary display ads, non-personalized too.
Make a skin now, in your browser: five guided photos with the camera, or photos already taken. Nothing is uploaded. The Scan2Skin 3D app for iPhone and Android adds scan yourself, HD skins and Pro.
